There are three letters in coptic language with usage to indicate complement , adjectives and adverbs:

For indicating a complement the following articles are used:

`ν before all words

`μ before words beginning with μ,π,β,φ,ψ.

`ε after some verbs

For indicating adjective or adverb the following articles are used:

`ν before all words

`μ before words beginning with μ,π,β,φ,ψ.

For indicating a status usually translated “while being….., or “in……” ” the following articles are used:

`ν before all words

`μ before words beginning with μ,π,β,φ,ψ.
